Sunday, August 11th Richfield Woods Park 1:00pm – Fireworks at dark  

We are again selling tickets for an Electric Bike drawing at Community Day.  The tickets are $20 and only 200 sold.  

 

After many hours of hard work — the results are impressive. So are those hard-working Kiwanians who finished this amazing project for Shelter Care’s Safe Landing. The youth now have a pace for recreation, meeting with counselors and families.  We are very proud of this project and thankful for Ohio District Kiwanis Foundation’s financial support.

Special Grant Presentation from Ohio District Kiwanis Foundation to Bath-Richfield Kiwanis Club for the Shelter Care landscaping project. A $3700 check was presented on June 27th. Special thanks to member, Jeff Sprungl!!

Our June 27th meeting was held at Springcrest Lake Pavilion and hosted by Barb and Jerry Baley. We were honored to have some important Kiwanis Leaders join us at this event.  Joining us were leaders of the Ohio District Kiwanis Foundation who awarded us a grant for $3,700 to build a garden/patio gathering place for the children, parents and staff to use and enjoy.  We were honored to have Alan and Jeri Penn, Dave and Laurie Kuhn, Bill and Peggy Flinta along with our Division Lt. Governor, Laura Miller.  Above is a photo of Jeff Sprungl who is leading the grant project receiving the check from Alan Penn, ODKF Executive Director.

 

SERVICE: It's what we love to do!

Scout Camp manatoc -clean up day

Club members gathered at Camp Manatoc with other Kiwanians from Division 16 to spruce up the cabins and lodges for the beginning of Scout Camp this year.  The grounds around the Health Lodge were cleaned up mowed and trimmed, flowers were planted around the flagpoles and the inside was also wiped down.  We had a surprise visit from Ohio Kiwanis Governor Jason Miller, Past Governor Dave Kuhn, and Lt. Governor Laura Miller

THE HEART OF REVERE

“The Heart of Revere” is our newest outreach. The Bath Richfield Kiwanis donated $2,800 to support the operating budget of this organization. The organization supports struggling families in the Bath and Richfield communities get through those periods of tough times.

REVERE HIGH SCHOOL KEY CLUB 

Key Club, is an international service organization for high school students. As a student-led organization, Key Club’s goal is to encourage leadership through serving others.

ShelterCare is one of our key outreach programs. We provide essential needs, snacks and landscape for young people and families at these Akron facilities. 

We Strive to Enrich EVERY COMMUNITY WE SERVE AND EVERY MEMBER WE ENGAGE
