P.E.N.S. Basket Project

The P.E.N.S. Basket Project is the Signature Project for the Bath Richfield Kiwans. Since starting in 2017, we have put together and delivered over 400 P.E.N.S. Baskets to the Hope and Healing Center / Battered Women's Shelter of Summit and Medina Counties. The goal is to provide every woman who arrives at the shelter with a personal basket full of essential personal items. One third of the baskets are “family” baskets for women who arrive with kids and in need of peronal items.

Unfortunately, the need for these baskets is very high. Our club now has to schedule a basket build for 50 baskets every 10 weeks to meet the needs of the shelter.
