The Bath Richfield Kiwanis will be collecting shoes for the needy people around the world that have NO shoes. All shoe types, sizes, styles and conditions are being collected--even well worn shoes. If you are missing a shoe, we will be glad to accept one shoe. New shoes are wonderful, but to the shoeless any shoes that can be worn are a godsend. All used shoes will be cleaned and disinfected prior to distribution.

The project will begin next week and go through August 12th. We are in the process of setting up a collection box(es) in strategic locations and are planning on having a collection area set up at Richfield Woods during our Community Day celebration on August 11th & 12th. Shoes can also be dropped off any Thursday 6-8 PM at the Fellowship Hall in Richfield when Kiwanis has their weekly meeting. The only thing you need to do put rubber bands around the shoes in a pair to keep them together.

A new playground is being planned for bath park area next year. The Bath Richfield Kiwanis have pledged to fund $10,000 worth of playground equipment for Bath kids.
